Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team and provide exceptional pharmaceutical care in a friendly, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, approachable, and enjoys working closely with patients and staff. Key Responsibilities Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and health outcomes Verify prescriptions and ensure proper documentation Provide immunizations and clinical services (as permitted by state law) Collaborate with technicians to ensure smooth daily workflow Communicate with prescribers regarding therapy clarification, prior authorizations, and medication alternatives Maintain patient profiles and pharmacy records Uphold pharmacy standards, policies, and quality assurance practices Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment Qualifications Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of practice Prior experience in an independent pharmacy and/or LTC pharmacy preferred Strong knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools Experience with compounding medications using aseptic techniques Excellent patient service skills with the ability to perform patient assessments effectively Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team while maintaining HIPAA compliance Certification in immunizations preferred Join our team to make a meaningful impact on patient health through expert pharmaceutical care.
