Pharmacist

Staff Pharmacist Description:

The Pharmacist supports daily pharmacy operations by providing accurate drug screening, processing, and dispensing services. This role ensures safe, efficient medication distribution and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Essential Functions Manage day‑to‑day pharmacy workflow, production quotas, and deadlines Ensure compliance with state, federal, DEA, and third‑party payer regulations Supervise production staff and maintain secure, efficient workflow Verify accuracy of new/refill orders, packaging, and labeling Prepare or oversee preparation of sterile IV products Assist in handling, documenting, and storing controlled substances; maintain Schedule II inventory Provide evening/weekend/holiday on‑call support as needed Clear workflow dashboards daily Follow HIPAA and departmental safety, attendance, and dress code guidelines Perform other assigned duties Competencies Attention to detail, communication, collaboration, technical capacity, problem‑solving, decision‑making, reliability, teamwork, discretion. Skills Pharmacy, Pharmacy Certification, Registered Pharmacist credentials. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Macon, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $63.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
