Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A critical access hospital with 25 beds is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment starting mid-to-late May. This role is based in Cherokee, Iowa, ideal for professionals with hospital experience who are licensed or eligible for temporary licensure in Iowa.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Day shifts (8 hours per day)
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapies Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments Participate in clinical consultations and patient care initiatives
Qualifications:
