Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations at our newest location in Nampa, ID. The PIC will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Maintain proper licensing and documentation.
Medication Management:
Oversee the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications, including controlled substances, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Patient Care:
Provide direct patient care services, including medication counseling, drug therapy monitoring, and health education.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to improve service delivery and patient safety.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, new medications, and best practices to enhance pharmacy operations and patient outcomes.
Qualifications Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Valid state pharmacist license; must meet all state requirements to practice. Licensure in the following states is desired:
Idaho, California, Arizona, Alaska, Kansas, Texas, Oregon, Oklahoma, Illinois, Nebraska Skills:
Excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Technology:
