Job Description
Top Healthcare company is hiring Indiana Licensed Pharmacist-in-Charge to work onsite in Charlestown, IN!
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Board of Pharmacy requirements.
Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), maintaining licensure and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fulfillment workflows and inventory management.
Mentor and develop pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure high standards of patient care and fulfillment accuracy.
Support strategic initiatives that enhance pharmacy services, operational scalability, and customer satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between pharmacy operations and corporate leadership, contributing insights and recommendations.
Establish and manage delivery services for all patients.
Develop and maintain clinical monitoring programs for all therapies, patients, and accreditation programs as appropriate.
Coordinate start of care with nurse/physician.
Participate with nurses and physicians in the development and revision of patient plans of care.
Participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences.
Participating in the Strategic Improvement Plan (Performance Improvement Plan).Perform other duties as assigned. The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a pharmacy operations or fulfillment environment.
Proficient in clinical interpretation; drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interaction and allergiesProven leadership experience with direct reports (exempt and non-exempt)Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, pharmacy law, and operational best practicesDemonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Well-developed problem solving and decision-making skills are required to make sound and intelligent decisions with respect to business, as well as clinical issues.
Personal resiliency to accept changing workflows, unexpected demands, and expeditiously reallocated time and efforts to self and others.
Experience in making fiscal decisions that positively affects the profitability of the business.
