  • Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A Per Diem pharmacist opportunity is available for a federally qualified health center (FQHC) pharmacy operating under the 340B program in Columbus, Indiana.
This role requires providing professional pharmacy services during select June dates, supporting patient care in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break 12:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM) Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM No holidays or weekend shifts Dates to cover: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare medications and prescription orders for collection or delivery accurately and efficiently Oversee ordering and inventory control of equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals Maintain compliance with controlled substances protocols and preserve safe storage conditions Verify prescription details through consultation with healthcare providers as needed Monitor expiry dates and maintain approved controlled substances lists Ensure optimal product display and pharmacy presentation Respond professionally to customer inquiries and concerns Keep detailed records of inventory, patient data, and insurance documentation Provide support for telepharmacy operations Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager regarding staff progress and pharmacy needs Adhere strictly to all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy services
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Pharmacist license with immunization certification Submission of resume, skills checklist, and professional references required Proficiency with Liberty RX pharmacy software preferred Spanish language skills considered a plus This contract assignment offers an opportunity to contribute to a community-based health center while working a predictable schedule without holiday or weekend obligations.
