Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel pharmacist opportunity is available for a 250-bed community hospital located in Northern Indiana. This role offers a 13-week contract with the potential for extension, providing an engaging environment to apply your pharmacy expertise.
Location:
Mishawaka, IN Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week 2nd shift hours: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM Possible alternative schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure adherence to protocols Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge to manage dosing and drug therapy Support inpatient pharmacy services within a community hospital setting Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid pharmacist license with the ability to practice in Indiana Experience with inpatient pharmacy operations preferred Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary consultations Ability to supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians Competence in pharmacokinetics and clinical decision-making This contract assignment offers a rewarding clinical setting where your skills directly improve patient outcomes.
