Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A long-term acute care hospital in Indiana is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an immediate opening. This 8-13 week assignment is ideal for a pharmacist looking for a flexible, small-team environment with a steady daytime schedule and the opportunity to take on a well-rounded clinical and operational role.

Responsibilities:

Perform order verification and ensure accurate medication dispensing Complete IV compounding (non-chemotherapy) in compliance with safety standards Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies Support daily pharmacy operations in a low-volume, patient-focused setting Participate in on-call and weekend coverage (shared with Pharmacy Manager) Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Active Indiana Pharmacist License (required) Recent inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred IV compounding experience required Ability to work independently in a small pharmacy team

Skills:

Proficiency with HCS ePharmacy and Omnicell systems preferred Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage workflow efficiently

Work Hours:

Day Shift:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Full-time hours with occasional extended shifts as needed On-call and weekend coverage required (rotating)
