Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire Soliant is hiring an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a closed-door mail order pharmacy setting. This evening shift opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide strong leadership while supervising pharmacy technicians. The right candidate will bring strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care.

Monday - Friday | 12:30 PM - 9:00
PM Schedule Notes:
Possible Saturdays based on business needs
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently dispense medications per prescription orders Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, and duplications Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate patient records, medication histories, and interventions Supervise and support pharmacy technicians on 2nd shift Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws Oversee proper medication storage and handling procedures Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stocking supplies Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives Resolve customer concerns and provide excellent customer service Stay current with pharmacy practice updates and regulations
Qualifications:
PharmD degree required Active Indiana Pharmacist License required Active California Pharmacist License preferred, or willingness to reciprocate for California licensure (assistance provided) 1-3 years of recent retail pharmacy experience required Supervisory or leadership experience required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to travel up to 5% as needed If you're a licensed pharmacist looking for an evening shift opportunity with long-term potential, apply today.
