Fulfillment Pharmacist Location:
100% Onsite in
Charlestown, IN Schedule:
Rotating schedule, Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm
ET Compensation:
$110,000 - $140,000 per year
Sign-on Bonus:
$5,000.00About the Role Are you a Retail Pharmacist ready for a change? Our Mail-order and Closed-Door Specialty Pharmacy offers a unique opportunity to transition into a production-focused environment. As a Fulfillment Pharmacist, you will oversee production-related pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting high-accuracy dispensing.
Key Responsibilities Verification & Quality:
Perform PV2 verification of prescriptions and conduct quality assurance reviews of dispensed medications.
Operations Management:
Execute day-to-day fulfillment tasks, ensuring efficiency in prescription processing and meeting production quotas.
Compliance Oversight:
Maintain adherence to all accreditation standards and applicable DEA, FDA, NABP, URAC, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Clinical Management:
Optimize therapy to ensure medication safety through evidence-based medicine and coordinate patient care with integrated healthcare teams.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Partner with fulfillment leadership and pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow integrity and safety protocols.
Documentation:
Maintain oversight of pharmacy records, SOPs, and compliance logs.
Qualifications Education:
PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
Licensure:
Current unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in good standing with the State of Indiana.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in fulfillment or production operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy management software.
Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and fulfillment workflows.
Capabilities:
High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellence in collaborative environments.
Organization:
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. Capacity to lift, carry, and move up to 20 pounds. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
