Job Description

LifeSpring Health Systems seeks a Pharmacy Manager for an outpatient community health center pharmacy setting. The Pharmacy Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations within a community health center-owned pharmacy that dispenses 340B, and other, medications. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including 340B program requirements. The Pharmacy Manager collaborates with medical, administrative, and compliance teams to optimize medication access and health outcomes for underserved populations. Qualifications
REQUIRED
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
REQUIRED
Current and unrestricted pharmacist license, or license eligible pharmacist, in the State of Indiana. Minimum of 3 years' experience in pharmacy management, preferably in a community or outpatient setting. Experience with 340B Drug Pricing Program operations and compliance highly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to serving underserved and diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities Pharmacy Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy, including prescription processing, inventory control, workflow optimization, and staff scheduling to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery. 340
B Program Oversight:
Ensure strict compliance with 340B Drug Pricing Program regulations. Monitor and manage 340B inventory, maintain accurate records, and oversee processes for audits and program integrity.
Patient Care and Clinical Services:
Provide direct patient care through medication therapy management, counseling, and disease state education. Promote safe and effective medication use, especially for underserved and vulnerable populations.
Staff Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate pharmacy staff. Foster a collaborative environment focused on patient safety, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations, including HRSA and FQHC-specific requirements.
Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement:
Implement quality assurance programs, monitor performance metrics, and lead initiatives to improve pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with FQHC leadership, providers, and external partners to support integrated care models and maximize the benefits of the 340B program for patients.
Financial Management:
Oversee pharmacy budgeting, purchasing, and financial reporting. Monitor reimbursement and optimize pharmacy revenue while maintaining affordability for patients. Working Conditions Full-time, on-site position within a community health center-owned pharmacy. May require occasional evenings or weekends as needed to meet patient care or operational needs. Direct interaction with patients, staff, providers, and regulatory bodies.
