Job Description

Category Pharmacy•Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This per diem position offers an excellent opportunity to provide pharmacy services within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment. The role focuses on delivering efficient medication preparation, inventory management, and pharmacy operations support, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Schedule:
Monday through
Thursday:
8:00 AM•5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break 12:00 PM•1:00 PM)
Friday:
8:00 AM•4:00 PM (1-hour lunch break 12:00 PM•1:00 PM) No holidays or weekend shifts required Specific dates: June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare drugs and prescription orders accurately for patient collection or delivery Oversee ordering and management of pharmacy equipment and supplies Control inventory and maintain records of stock and expiry dates Apply best practice protocols for storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances Verify prescription details with healthcare providers as needed Monitor product displays, shelf organization, and overall pharmacy appearance Address patient requests and resolve complaints professionally Maintain accurate patient, insurance, and inventory documentation Support telepharmacy services as needed Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager regarding staff progress and pharmacy needs Ensure all pharmacy activities comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Indiana Pharmacist with an active immunization license Experience with Liberty RX software preferred Submission of resume, skills checklist, and references required Spanish speaking skills are a plus This role is well suited for a pharmacist seeking per diem hours within a clinic-based pharmacy setting, contributing to quality patient care and pharmacy operations.
