Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week assignment is available for a Pharmacist at a 250-bed community hospital in Northern Indiana. This contract role offers the opportunity to serve as an integral part of the inpatient pharmacy team, ensuring safe and effective medication management within a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care. You will also participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring and other clinical services to support therapeutic outcomes. This position primarily covers second shifts, with a schedule of four 10-hour days per week (1 pm to 10:30 pm), and may offer an option for a 7-on 7-off rotation. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with current state licensure to practice pharmacy Prior experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred Strong skills in medication order verification, clinical consultation, and pharmacy technician supervision Knowledge of pharmacokinetics and patient-centered care Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and reliability in coverage of second shifts
