Equity Staffing Group is seeking an Indiana Licensed Pharmacist for an ongoing contract opportunity with a community retail pharmacy in Winamac, Indiana. This position offers a consistent schedule in a patient-focused pharmacy environment while supporting pharmacy operations until a permanent hire is made.

June 29, 2026 Ongoing assignment The Pharmacist will oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications, provide excellent customer service, and maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience who enjoys working closely with patients and supporting a collaborative pharmacy team. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently Perform final verification of technician-prepared prescriptions prior to release Enter prescription orders and patient information accurately into the pharmacy system Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions Maintain the security and accountability of pharmacy inventory, including controlled substances Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and daily workflow activities Resolve prescription issues and communicate effectively with providers, patients, and insurance companies Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care Required Qualifications Active Indiana Pharmacist License in good standing Retail pharmacy experience Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and controlled substance requirements Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small pharmacy team Local candidates only Preferred Qualifications Experience using PioneerRx pharmacy software Previous experience in a community or independent retail pharmacy setting Work Environment Retail community pharmacy setting Approximately 30 prescriptions processed daily Pharmacy team consists of: Pharmacy Manager Staff Pharmacist Two Pharmacy Technicians Business casual dress code Three days of onsite orientation and training required prior to start If you are a licensed Indiana Pharmacist seeking a stable retail pharmacy opportunity with a supportive team and community-focused environment, we encourage you to apply today. #indmnhc
