Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations at our growing home infusion and specialty pharmacy in Lenexa, Kansas. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a collaborative healthcare environment, where you'll work closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes. As the PIC, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, effective, and compliant pharmacy operations while helping support the company's continued growth and expansion. Key Responsibilities Evaluate physician orders, laboratory data, and patient information to ensure appropriate and effective drug therapy Oversee the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, supplies, and infusion equipment Provide clinical expertise to patients and healthcare partners to improve therapeutic outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations Lead and oversee pharmacy staff, including technicians and support personnel (as the team expands) Support quality assurance, performance improvement initiatives, and operational excellence Participate in on-call rotation to support patient care needs Qualifications Required Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Kansas Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) or equivalent Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (company-sponsored) in support of organizational growth Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and locations Preferred Experience in home infusion and/or specialty pharmacy Familiarity with CareTend or CPR+ pharmacy management systems Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Friday schedule (typically 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) On-call rotation shared across branch locations What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: A self-starter who thrives working independently Dependable and highly accountable Patient-focused and team-oriented Adaptable in a fast-paced, growing environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving abilities Proactive, has a positive attitude, and is eager to learn
