is seeking a
PHARMACIST
to join our growing network of healthcare professionals. We are looking for detail-oriented, highly dependable pharmacists with a strong background in hospital settings. Job Responsibilities:
Compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written prescriptions from physicians Interpret medication orders and review patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and clinical staff to optimize medication use and patient safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, checking prepared medications before release Participate in pharmacy performance improvement plans and assist in the education of hospital personnel Support the pharmacy's role in patient care across adult and geriatric populations Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure pharmacy and controlled substance security Handle STAT, NOW, and fill-on-arrival orders in a timely and prioritized manner Perform pharmacokinetic dosing, interpret drug levels, and document appropriately Stay current on new medications, compounding techniques, and hospital protocols
Qualifications/Skills:
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD or equivalent degree Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of employment (or eligible for reciprocity)
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
Strong knowledge of drug therapies, dosing, interactions, and compounding practices Experience with electronic medication records and order entry systems (e.g., Pyxis, EPIC) Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to function independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure Knowledge of regulatory standards and hospital compliance requirements Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening.
