Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Long Term Care Soliant - 3.9 Lexington, KY Job Details 20 hours ago Qualifications Registered Pharmacist (RPh) Practicing as a pharmacist Workflow management (operations management method) Customer inquiry handling Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Team management Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Soliant is actively seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a closed-door long-term care pharmacy. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who values consistency, accountability, and operational excellence. Attendance and dependability are critical —this site needs a leader who shows up, leads from the front, and keeps the operation running smoothly.

As needed Key Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations Oversee daily pharmacy operations including dispensing, patient care, and workflow management Maintain accurate records for prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances Lead, mentor, and manage pharmacy staff; conduct evaluations and provide ongoing training Develop and implement policies to improve safety, efficiency, and service quality Supervise inventory operations to maintain optimal stock while minimizing waste Collaborate with providers, payors, and stakeholders to resolve medication-related issues Address inquiries and concerns with a high level of professionalism and service Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational enhancements Conduct audits and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols Requirements BS in Pharmacy or PharmD Active, clear KY Pharmacist license 2-4+ years of LTC experience (strongly preferred) Recent pharmacy management experience required (PIC or similar leadership role) Proven reliability, strong leadership skills, and ability to manage high-volume workflow If this sounds like an opportunity you'd be interested in, send your resume to for immediate review.Contact Info Soo Lee Direct Line:
