Job Description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking Per Diem Pharmacists with retail pharmacy experience for a high-volume pharmacy setting in Louisville, KY. This role supports safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations.
  • Pay Rate:
  • $65 - $75 per hour
  • Schedule:
  • shifts between 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, policies, and safety standards
  • Review and clarify medication orders to maintain patient safety
  • Provide clinical support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and staff
  • Perform final verification of prescriptions and ensure accuracy before dispensing
  • Maintain workflow efficiency in a high-volume environment
  • Support patient care through medication counseling when required
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely and appropriate medication therapy
  • Qualifications:
  • Active Pharmacist license (required)
  • Retail pharmacy experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
  • Ability to work flexible per diem shifts between 9AM-7PM
