• Pharmacist Job Type Contract We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time hospital assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana.

This opportunity is based in a well-established community hospital environment where pharmacists play an integral role in direct patient care, clinical collaboration, and medication safety initiatives.

Assignment Details Start Date:

ASAP Duration:

13-week contract

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week Rotating schedule including: 6:00 AM

• 4:30 PM 7:00 AM
• 5:30 PM 12:30 PM
• 11:00 PM Every other weekend required

Setting:

200+ bed community hospital

Pharmacy Systems:

EPIC and Pyxis Full-time hours Key Responsibilities Perform inpatient medication order verification Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Ensure medication accuracy, safety, and compliance with hospital protocols Participate in clinical pharmacy services and patient care decision-making Required Qualifications Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

EPIC EMR
