Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in the New Orleans area is seeking a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position beginning June 2nd. This daytime role involves providing specialized pharmacy support in the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2, working every other week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Baton Rouge, LA Schedule:

Days, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Every other week (EOW)

Responsibilities:

Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services in a Level 1 trauma setting Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize medication therapy in critical care units Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and guidelines Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system efficiently for patient care documentation and communication

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year recent experience as a Critical Care/Clinical Pharmacist in a Level 1 trauma center LA pharmacist license in-hand Board Certification preferred but not required PGY-2 residency highly preferred, though candidates without this credential will be considered Must be proficient with

EPIC EMR
