Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in Alexandria, Louisiana! This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically focused pharmacist looking to transition into pharmacy leadership and gain hands-on management experience.. Part-Time | Morning Shifts | 20 Hours per
Week Responsibilities:
Serve as Pharmacist in Charge and oversee daily pharmacy operations Ensure compliance with state, federal, and DEA regulations Perform chart reviews and maintain accurate clinical documentation Verify prescriptions and ensure safe dispensing practices Step into workflow support and fill prescriptions when technician coverage is limited Complete internal reporting and operational documentation using Excel Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain efficient and compliant pharmacy services Operate independently while managing pharmacy responsibilities and workflow
Requirements:
Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing 3-5 years of pharmacist experience Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Interest in gaining pharmacy management and leadership experience Substance abuse or opioid treatment experience preferred, but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently in a professional healthcare environment This is a fantastic opportunity for pharmacists looking to broaden their career beyond traditional staffing responsibilities and build valuable experience in pharmacy leadership, compliance management, and operational oversight within a specialized clinical setting.
