This contract position begins ASAP and lasts approximately 13 weeks, providing an excellent chance to apply your clinical expertise in a supportive healthcare environment.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week Rotating schedule varying between 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM shifts Every other weekend coverage required

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders with precision to ensure patient safety Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and accuracy Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy Utilize pharmacokinetic principles for individualized patient care Navigate IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for efficient order management and documentation

Desired Experience:

Licensed pharmacist with clinical experience in hospital pharmacy settings Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
