Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Metairie, LA is seeking a skilled Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity offers meaningful clinical work within a Level 1 trauma center setting, supporting both the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2 units.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert clinical pharmacy services in critical care units, focusing on patient assessment, medication therapy management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Participate actively in daily rounds with the medical team to optimize therapy plans. Monitor and adjust medication regimens to ensure patient safety and efficacy. Document interventions and maintain accurate electronic medical records using EPIC.Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Critical Care or Clinical Pharmacist within a Level 1 trauma facility. PGY-2 residency preferred but not mandatory. Current Louisiana pharmacist license required. Board certification in a relevant specialty is preferred. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system is mandatory. Willingness to provide coverage every other week (EOW) on day shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM. Open to first-time travelers who meet clinical criteria.Location:

Days from 7 AM to 3 PM. Every other week rotation.
