Job Description

Job Summary:
Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for a PRN Telehealth pharmacist to assist the full time Telehealth pharmacist. Participate in a 4-yr project to evaluate the effectiveness of Telehealth interventions on vaccine uptake among individuals from various employment backgrounds. The Telehealth clinical research pharmacist will recruit, register, schedule and complete Telehealth interventions in individual and group format for enrolled participants. Data will be collected across 8-Telehealth sessions per patient over 24 months. Additional duties will include data formatting, analysis and presentation of research findings in community and scientific forums.
AA/ EOE Additional responsibilities include:
Adheres to XUTC policies/procedures related to HIPAA and security of patient data. Maintains compliance with all laws pertaining to the duties of a licensed, registered pharmacist. Provides instruction/education and feedback, as necessary, to student learners, residents, and fellows. Maintains necessary and appropriate records/documentation regarding services rendered. Ensures the safe and effective use of medications.
Expected hours per month:
5-20 hours per months.
Minimum Qualifications:
PharmD Pharmacy Licensure in Louisiana PGY-1 Residency or 3 years related work experience Research Experience related to community engagement and pharmacy outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
Fluency in additional language: Spanish or Arabic At least 1 year of work experience related to Telehealth OR At least 1 year of work experience related to Medication Therapy Management or Chronic Care Management OR At least 1 year of work experience related to Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Approved HIPAA training completed within the last year.
