Operating under a contract arrangement, this position offers a one-year term with potential for extension or transition to direct hire.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM (20 hours per week) Located in

Alexandria, Louisiana Key Responsibilities:

Oversee pharmacy operations as the designated Pharmacist in Charge Conduct thorough chart reviews and maintain precise documentation Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with filling prescriptions when technician support is unavailable Prepare and submit internal reports and forms, utilizing Microsoft Excel Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Work independently with minimal direct patient interaction, unless requested Handle pharmacy functions without billing or insurance processing duties

Qualifications:

Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing, free from any negative history 3 to 5 years of professional pharmacy experience Experience in substance abuse or opioid treatment is preferred but not mandatory Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision This contract position offers $65 per hour and a rewarding environment where your expertise helps support critical treatment services.
