In this vital role, you will provide expert pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting, ensuring safe, effective medication use and optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will support multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality care across various departments, including emergency, intensive care, pediatrics, and trauma centers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical skills in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust medication therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication regimens and monitor responses Provide expert consultation on complex medication management issues such as IV infusion therapy, acute pain management, and critical care pharmacology Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, including aseptic technique and medication administration procedures Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, medication histories, and clinical interventions Support pharmacy residency programs and participate in ongoing education to stay current with advances in clinical pharmacy practices Skills Extensive knowledge of hospital medicine, critical care, pediatrics, and trauma center operations (Level I & II Trauma Centers) Proven experience in managed care environments with a focus on patient service and safety Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles Proficiency in IV infusion preparation, aseptic techniques, and medication administration protocols Hands-on experience with patient assessment tools and acute care procedures within ICU or emergency room settings Ability to interpret complex medical data for effective decision-making in high-pressure situations Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients about their medications Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to advancing patient care through clinical excellence.
