Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for licensed pharmacists to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves essential responsibilities such as order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians, and managing pharmacokinetics to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct accurate and timely order verification. Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians in daily operations. Consult with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy. Manage pharmacokinetics and dose adjustments as required. Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to support pharmacy workflows.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts pharmacist license. Experience with hospital pharmacy operations. Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automation. Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
Location:
Salem, Massachusetts — flexible scheduling with variable days and afternoon shifts.
Schedule/Hours:
Variable days, afternoon shifts to align with hospital needs. This contract position spans approximately 13 weeks with an ASAP start date.
