The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care through the safe and effective use of medications. This position requires a strong background in clinical pharmacy, acute care, and hospital settings, with a focus on patient assessment and service. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for compounding medications, immunizing patients, and ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Duties Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of therapy. Provide medication counseling to patients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their prescriptions. Conduct patient assessments to monitor therapeutic outcomes and identify potential drug interactions. Compounding medications as needed, following established protocols and aseptic techniques. Administer immunizations in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and services provided. Stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy and participate in continuing education opportunities. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution. Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and clinical pharmacy practices. Experience in acute care or hospital pharmacy settings is preferred. Proficiency in patient care services and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with compounding medications and aseptic technique is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
