Schedule:
Overnight Wednesday to Tuesday - 7 on / 7 off Position Summary The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and effective use of medications across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations. This role includes order verification, clinical review,pounding, dispensing, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Primary Responsibilities
  • Interpret and evaluate medication orders prior to verification and entry
  • Assess medication therapy for dose, route, frequency, and appropriateness
  • Monitor for drug interactions, adverse reactions, allergies, and therapeutic duplications
  • Identify, resolve, and document medication-related issues and errors
  • Verify accuracy of medication orders and products dispensed
  • Participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds
  • Provide drug information and counseling to providers, nurses, and patients
  • Oversee pharmacy technician workflow and activities
  • Assist with narcotic control and maintain accurate records
  • Compound medications and prepare IV admixtures as needed
  • Ensurepliance with USP 795 and USP 797 standards Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestricted Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
  • 1-4 years of clinical pharmacy experience in an acute care hospital preferred
  • ASHP-accredited residency preferred
  • Board Certification (e.g., BCPS) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medication management for adult and geriatric populations Why Work for Adecco?

Pay Details:
