Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Salem, MA is seeking several licensed pharmacists to support their inpatient pharmacy services. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where professionalism and patient care are top priorities. The position starts ASAP and extends for at least 13 weeks, with a schedule that includes variable day and afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately ensuring safety and compliance Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Consult with physicians and healthcare staff on medication therapies Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient treatment Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and inventory
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts pharmacist license Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings Proficiency with electronic medical records and automated medication systems Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
