Job Description

Staff Pharmacist Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, self-driven, energetic, and high-achieving individual to lead and expand our pharmacies. You must be self-motivated, dependable, and ethical. Strong people management skills are essential. The success of our organization relies on our employees. We want a staff Pharmacist who can fit in with our current top-notch team and help our pharmacies reach their full potential. You should have knowledge and experience in the business side of running a pharmacy, including daily operations. We are looking for the ideal candidate to play a key role in delivering reliable, accessible, and innovative pharmacy care.
Qualifications:
Experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy is perfered. Strong pharmacy leadership and operational skills are a must Licensed Pharmacist in MD, an additional license in DE will be considered. High level of management skills Experience with QS1 systems is a plus.

Coastal Drug Pharmacy is an independent, family-owned, and operated pharmacy located in Berlin, MD. We have an unmatched passion for the customers and facilities we serve. Whle we are primarily a community pharmacy, we also serve nursing homes, correctional facilities, group homes, and DME. The following is a list of responsibilities for the general nature of work performed, and is not comprehensive. Responsible for all aspects of Pharmacy Operations, administrative and operational, for both pharmacies, including inventory, personnel, and security, with an emphasis on customer relations. Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided. Provide oversight in inventory management. Hire, train, coach, and evaluate all pharmacy support staff. Coordinate scheduling for both pharmacies. Ensure compliance with all company procedures and federal and state laws, rules, and regulations. Monitor and resolve any third party reimbursement and contracting issues. Review reporting to determine pharmacy performance levels. Develop and carry out policies and procedures. Maintain the security of both pharmacies. The Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-6 pm, and Saturday, 10am till 2 PM. We are closed on Sundays and Holidays.
