Pharmacist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert pharmaceutical advice, and ensuring optimal patient care within a dynamic clinical environment. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately using pharmacy software and ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication management plans tailored to individual patient needs. Manage inventory levels efficiently, including ordering, stock rotation, and documentation within pharmacy systems. Provide immunizations and educate patients on medication administration, potential side effects, and medical terminology. Requirements Valid pharmacist license with active registration in Maryland. Experience with retail setting and skilled with customer interactions and building trust. Prefer work experience in independent pharmacy. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and immunization protocols to support comprehensive patient care. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Experience working with pharmacy technicians and managing inventory effectively within a retail setting.

Pay:

$58.00 - $62.00 per hour
