Key Responsibilities:

Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure medication understanding and adherence Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and accuracy

Qualifications:

Active, clear Maryland State Pharmacist license in good standing Prior experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment

Work Environment:

Handles a daily prescription volume ranging from 100 to 200 orders Utilizes PioneerRX pharmacy software system Supported by a team of 5 pharmacy technicians and 1 specialty pharmacist assistant This contract role offers the option for either one pharmacist to cover full-time hours or two pharmacists to split shifts, providing flexibility for candidates.
