Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This position offers a focused clinical pharmacist role within a home infusion setting. The pharmacist will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on an 8 to 13-week contract basis. The work environment is specialized in home infusion therapy, requiring detailed knowledge of sterile compounding standards and patient consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and verification of sterile compounds performed by pharmacy technicians within a clean room setting. Ensure adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile compounding. Provide clinical consultations directly with patients to support their home infusion therapies. Utilize pharmacy information systems, with experience in Care Tend considered an advantage.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in home infusion pharmacy practice is mandatory. Strong background in sterile compounding, specifically within home infusion environments. Familiarity with USP 797 and 800 guidelines. Licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Michigan. Experience with Care Tend computer system is a plus but not required.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This role requires a signed agreement prior to engagement.
