Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy 13-Week Contract Assignment Position Overview Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a hospital-based contract assignment. The pharmacist will support inpatient medication management, oncology compounding, anticoagulation clinic services, and interdisciplinary patient care in a clinical hospital setting. This role requires strong inpatient pharmacy experience and the ability to independently perform IV and oncology compounding. Schedule Monday•

Friday:

6:30 AM•5:00

PM Weekends & Holidays:

8:00 AM•1:00 PM Weekend coverage required On-call required Core ResponsibilitiesMedication Management Review and verify physician medication orders Confirm accurate drug selection, dosage, and administration routes Monitor patient profiles for allergies, drug interactions, and lab results Clinical Pharmacy Services Perform pharmacokinetic dosing for high-risk medications Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians and nurses Support medication reconciliation and discharge counseling Compounding & Dispensing Prepare and oversee sterile compounding procedures Compound IV medications, IV piggybacks, TPN, and chemotherapy infusions Follow USP <797>/<800> sterile compounding standards Additional Responsibilities Support Anticoagulation Clinic services (4-6 patients daily) Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and students Assist with inventory and medication distribution processes RequirementsRequired Minimum 2 years inpatient pharmacist experience Active Michigan Pharmacist License Ability to work in Anticoagulation Clinic Oncology compounding experience required
