Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy in Detroit, MI, is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist for a contract position with the potential for extension. This role focuses on supporting a high-volume compounding environment, verifying compounded prescriptions, and preparing sterile injectables.
Responsibilities:
Verify and ensure accuracy of compounded medications and sterile injectables Manage a high-volume workflow while maintaining quality and safety standards Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize patient care and medication therapy Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal policies
Qualifications:
Current Michigan Pharmacy License required Experience in pharmacy compounding and sterile injectables Strong background as a staff pharmacist with emphasis on clinical and compounding pharmacy skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty compounding pharmacy environment
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Contract duration: 4 to 8 weeks with chance for extension Agreements must be signed prior to starting This role is ideal for a pharmacist with hands-on experience in compounded sterile preparations, looking to contribute to a specialty pharmacy setting.
