Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty compounding pharmacy in Detroit, MI is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment. This role focuses on utilizing pharmacy expertise in a specialty compounding environment, ideal for candidates holding active Michigan and California pharmacy licenses. The position requires hands-on, onsite work from Monday through Friday, with shifts running from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately within a specialty compounding setting Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, protocols, and safety regulations Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication use Maintain detailed records and manage inventory related to compounded medications Provide excellent patient counseling regarding compounded prescriptions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid pharmacist licenses for Michigan and California (MI/CA Licensed) Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail setting Experience or training in compounding pharmacy is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Ability to work onsite in Detroit, MI during specified hours
Schedule:
