Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty compounding pharmacy in Detroit, MI, is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a contract assignment lasting 4 to 8 weeks, with a possibility of extension. This role focuses on handling high-volume verification of compounds and sterile injectables in a fast-paced environment. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a consistent daytime schedule.
Responsibilities:
Accurately verify compounded medications and sterile injectables to ensure patient safety and quality standards. Manage a high volume of prescriptions efficiently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to support pharmacy operations. Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines specific to compounding pharmacy practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Michigan Pharmacy License. Proven experience as a pharmacist with a focus on injectable medications and compounding. Ability to work effectively in a specialty compounding pharmacy setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
