Job Description

This full-time pharmacist opportunity offers a dynamic role combining retail and inpatient pharmacy practice in Harbor Beach, MI. You will split your time between two conveniently located sites70% in the retail pharmacy and 30% in the hospital inpatient pharmacyproviding a well-rounded professional experience.
Work Schedule:
Four days per week, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm One weekday off per week Rotating weekend shifts Using Pioneer RX software for retail and CPSI for hospital operations (with an anticipated switch to EPIC in November), you will support a daily prescription volume averaging 250, totaling approximately 1300 weekly scripts. Responsibilities include servicing adult foster care home prescriptions and maintaining the medication needs of local long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and legal standards Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, drug interactions, and allergy considerations Prepare intravenous medications utilizing standard admixing processes Provide clear, knowledgeable answers to inquiries from patients and healthcare staff Work effectively both independently and in team environments Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times
Qualifications:
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Licensed pharmacist in the State of Michigan Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred or a strong willingness to learn within this environment This is a direct hire position ideal for pharmacists seeking a balance of retail and inpatient exposure in a supportive, community-oriented setting.
