Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to serve as Director of Pharmacy (DOP) and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a behavioral health facility located near Hudsonville, MI. This contract role supports a site specializing in behavioral health with an average daily census of approximately 40 patients.
Location:
Byron Center, MI (near Hudsonville)
Contract Details:
Start ASAP through approximately 8+ weeks until the permanent DOP is hired
Coverage Hours:
Monday-Friday:
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM onsite
Saturday:
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM remote coverage Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active Michigan pharmacist license in good standing required Experience with behavioral health pharmacy preferred Familiarity with HCS order entry system a plus Experience with Omnicell automation preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance Inventory maintenance without technician support Serve as both Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge Collaborate with facility staff to optimize pharmacy operations
