Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety
  • Perform medication therapy management and utilization management activities
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify drug-related problems and develop appropriate interventions
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology to ensure proper medication administration
  • Prepare and dispense IV infusions and other specialized medications
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients, taking into consideration their unique needs
  • Collaborate with the emergency room team to provide timely and appropriate medication interventions
Skills:
  • Strong patient care skills, with the ability to prioritize patient safety and well-being
  • Proficient in utilization management techniques to optimize medication therapy outcomes
  • Excellent patient assessment skills to identify drug-related problems and develop appropriate interventions
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology to ensure accurate medication administration
  • Experience in preparing and dispensing IV infusions and other specialized medications
  • Familiarity with pediatric pharmacy practices and the ability to provide pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the emergency room team to provide timely and appropriate medication interventions As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
