Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to fill a staff pharmacist role for a 4 to 8-week contract with the possibility of extension. This position offers a dynamic environment focused on managing a high volume of sterile injectable compounds and other specialty preparations. The contract duration provides a unique opportunity to apply your compounding expertise in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and ensure the accuracy of pharmaceutical compounds, with a strong focus on sterile injectables Manage high-volume compounding operations effectively and efficiently Maintain compliance with all pharmacy and safety regulations specific to compounding pharmacies Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to uphold quality standards and patient safety Assist with documentation and inventory management related to compounded medications
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Michigan Pharmacy License is required Proven experience as a pharmacist with a strong background in sterile injectable preparation and pharmaceutical compounding Expertise in clinical pharmacy practices within a specialty compounding setting preferred Ability to work meticulously under pressure while managing multiple tasks
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Contract duration: 4 to 8 weeks, with potential for extension This role requires a signed agreement and offers the chance to work in a specialized pharmacy environment that values precision and clinical expertise.
