Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist for a contract position in Troy, MI. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on the verification of compounded medications and sterile injectables, supporting a high-volume pharmacy setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for a duration of 4 to 8 weeks with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Accurately verify compounded medications and sterile injectable preparations Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in compounding practices Manage a high volume of prescriptions with attention to detail Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow efficiency Maintain detailed records in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Michigan Proven experience in pharmacy compounding and sterile injectables Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for compounded medications Excellent communication and organizational skills
