• Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established healthcare facility in the Burnsville, MN area is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment.

This position is ideal for a flexible, detail-oriented pharmacist ready to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a dynamic clinical setting. Immediate start is preferred.

9:30 a.m.

• 6:00 p.m. 10:00 a.m.
• 6:30 p.m. 11:00 a.m.
• 8:30 p.

m. Rotating weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

Responsibilities:

Accurately accept, dispense, and verify prescription medications. Monitor patient medication compliance and detect over-usage patterns. Ensure medications dispensed comply with legal standards and patient suitability. Maintain confidential, precise patient records and pharmacy files. Provide expert patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Deliver additional patient services including smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management. Educate patients on medical device usage such as glucose meters and blood pressure monitors. Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper protocols. Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks. Maintain accurate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve drug-related issues. Qualifications /

Desired Experience:

Valid Minnesota pharmacist license in-hand. Retail pharmacist experience welcomed; training provided if needed. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends as scheduled.
