Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced clinical pharmacist to support a hospital pharmacy team during overnight hours in a dynamic healthcare setting. This full-time contract role spans 3 months and operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule with 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities include:

Serving as the overnight pharmacist on-site, managing medication orders and pharmacy operations independently Providing after-hours order verification for three additional hospitals remotely Processing prescriptions for ambulatory care and hospice patients overnight Responding promptly to clinical emergencies such as Code Blue, Rapid Response Team, and Code Stroke activations Supporting care in a Level II nursery for neonates down to 34 weeks gestation Performing primary workflow duties including order verification, drug information consults, sterile IV compounding, cart filling, Pyxis inventory management, pharmacokinetic dosing, and anticoagulation management Qualifications and desired experience: Active Minnesota Pharmacist license required Proven Epic system experience is essential, with preferred expertise in Epic Willow Ambulatory (WAMB) Familiarity with Pyxis ES and BD Pyxis Logistics preferred Recent hospital or health-system pharmacy experience strongly preferred for successful navigation of clinical acute care environments This position is ideal for a pharmacist who values autonomy, excels in overnight practice, and thrives in supporting multiple healthcare sites through clinical expertise. Local candidates are preferred, but travel pharmacists will be considered and may receive travel stipends.

Schedule:
