Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacist to work in a busy outpatient pharmacy associated with a Children's Hospital near Kansas City, MO. This position offers a focused setting where you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing as well as providing valuable patient counseling.
Responsibilities:
Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations. Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and answer any related questions. Maintain compliance with all state pharmacy laws and regulations. Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Missouri Pharmacist license is required. Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Full-time availability Monday through Friday during day shifts. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shifts. Immediate start preferred. Contract duration of approximately 13 weeks or longer.

Outpatient pharmacy, affiliated with a Children's Hospital near Kansas City, MO.
