Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations in a well-established 250-bed facility. This contract role, based in Rolla, MO, offers a chance to apply clinical expertise while contributing to patient care through effective medication management.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying medication orders with precision to maintain patient safety Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow Engaging in pharmacokinetic assessments and consultation Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes Utilizing EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication distribution and documentation The ideal candidate holds an active Missouri pharmacist license and possesses prior hospital pharmacy experience. Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and clinical practices will be advantageous.
