Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join an outpatient pharmacy team connected to a leading children's hospital and make a direct impact on patient care. We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist with strong customer service skills and retail pharmacy experience to support prescription processing, patient counseling, and daily pharmacy operations in a collaborative healthcare environment.

13+ weeks
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Day shifts only Full-time hours Key Responsibilities Verify, fill, and check prescription orders accurately Counsel patients and caregivers on medication usage, side effects, and adherence Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during daily workflow Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness Collaborate with healthcare providers regarding medication-related questions Maintain accurate patient and medication records Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families Experience Required Retail pharmacy experience required Experience in a high-volume outpatient or community pharmacy setting preferred Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices Excellent communication and patient counseling skills Education & Licensure PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active Missouri Pharmacist license required Additional Qualifications Full-time availability throughout the assignment Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Commitment to patient-focused care and service excellence or reach out for further inquiry: (713) 987-3641 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
