Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A retail pharmacist opportunity is available at an outpatient pharmacy attached to a children's hospital in Kansas City, MO. This contract position offers a valuable experience working in a pediatric-focused environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care to young patients and their families.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Day shifts Responsibilities include verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions accurately, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and counseling patients on medication use and safety. The pharmacist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of pharmaceutical services as part of a dedicated healthcare team.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Missouri Pharmacist license Experience in retail pharmacy settings Availability for full-time day shifts Strong communication and counseling skills Ability to supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians effectively This contract role is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend for approximately 13 weeks.
