Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled clinical pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services within a 250-bed hospital setting. This role focuses on supporting safe and effective medication use through order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams.
Location:
Rolla, MO (Lake Spring area)
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders promptly and accurately to ensure patient safety Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Conduct pharmacokinetic assessments and consult with physicians and nursing staff Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and provide expert medication-related recommendations
Qualifications:
Valid Missouri pharmacist license required Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred to foster smooth integration into clinical workflow Familiarity with hospital IT systems, specifically EPIC and Omnicell, is beneficial
Schedule & Duration:
